Inspired by the complete works of Shakespeare, this celebration will be a feast of colour, comedy and music drawing on ritual and carnival, using masks, dance, puppets, magic, circus and music. Monsters and clowns, witches and fairies, pastoral and historical, tragedy and comedy and ghosts…..
This will special show to celebrate Shakespeare will not only be the first visit to the magnificent Globe Theatre but the first time we will have performed in London since Highbury Fields in 1991 17 years ago! |
